| Apr. 10th, 2007 09:16 pm Just stuff I know that depression totally whacks with your judgment. So he starts talking to me again after us not talking for a while, which made me happy. He's not doing so well though. He feels like he has nobody to talk to, which I tell him is silly because there's lots of people that care very much about him. He doesn't see it that way though. He's already pushed everyone away. Including me. Now he's seeing a Dr. FINALLY! and I hope it helps him. Because I can't. He wanted too much from me and I had to say no and walk away. That hurt.
Changing the subject
I hate that gas is super expensive and I have to commute to work.. On the bright side, my sister and her boyfriend are looking to buy a house in Hamilton and would like me to live with them... so they can "charge me up the ass for rent" I'm sure we can work something reasonable out. And then I'll be in the city that I want to be living in at least. And not by myself.
I've been working late shifts so I havent been able to go to band practice or fight practice or even get ahold of Trumbrand and Kaylah so I can finish making my new armour. I'm starting to feel kinda un-motivated about these things because I havent done them in so long. But the season for both of these things is going to start real soon so I should get on that stuff.
I've been jogging a bit now to get ready for the events I want to do this summer. I'm definitely motivated about that! I've always hated running. But it's not so bad really, once I got started. I get dizzy super easy though, so I'm not pushing as hard as I expected I'd be able to. But I'm definitely making progress. Noticable progress. I'm pretty pleased with myself. | Mar. 18th, 2007 10:03 am i screwed up I get into work yesterday afternoon to find out I'm not scheduled there this weekend. My mistake. When I was told I would be working one more weekend at the Hamilton General I must have not listened to the April part.. in my mind it was this weekend. So I didn't make it out to Ice Dragon like I wanted to. On the bright side I did get to go out drinking nice and early with my sister and cousin. And early was the only way we were getting into Slainte's. They had a shuttle running between the 3 bars owned by them, but we never made it that far. Tynne and Allison came out to the last bar we were at and brought me back to Ren and Arlette and Joleen's where I ended up spending the night 'cause they hid my boots. But I'm home now -grin- I hope everyone had a great (and safe) St. Patrick's Day. Leave a comment | |

| Mar. 11th, 2007 07:13 pm New Job New Job..
I did a couple interviews last week within the hospial corporation that I already work for and I was offered both the positions. I decided to take the admitting clerk job. Its an on-call job like the one I have now, with no guaranteed hours. The department runs 24 hrs, every day so the opportunity for me to get shifts is quite high. And they're short staffed. Unlike the department I'm in now which has too many staff.. thats why I'm leaving. I'm going to miss working in Diagnostic Imaging. I've been in the x-ray department for so long. I start training on Thursday but my old boss is borrowing me for next weekend. So no Ice Dragon for me.
This Friday.. I want to go to the Mongolian Grill with lots and lots of my friends. Its the best place to go with a big group of people, I havent been in a long time and I want to hang out with my friends more. So everybody try to come.. Let me know so I can make reservations

| Feb. 27th, 2007 07:51 pm my computer is happy with me today So my computer hasn't been allowing me to post to LJ for a few weeks. It's been shutting down my internet when ever I tried.. I am writing this tentatively with the expectation of being shut down again at any time. I have installed a patch that I think is helping though.
I got a weekend off of work unexpectedly and I took full advantage of it by going on a lengthy road trip with ashendari to Practicum in Ottawa. The event was fun and informative and entertaining and all that I expected it to be with the added bonus of black5sugars black box class. My regret for the weekend is regarding my mood swings. I hate my hyper-ness as much as I hate the depression. They are both uncontrollable and I feel like crap not having control. But I continue to try without medication cause both my doctor and I don't want me to be on lithium unless I really need to be. And I don't have a drug plan. I got the chance to spend some time with a few of my friends from Ottawa from when I briefly lived there. ashendari and I went to the museum with my friend Adam and then back to his house where I convinced his roommate that coming out for dinner with us was what he wanted to do even though he was eating a bowl of soup at the time. Dave, a friend from my even more distant past, joined us for dinner too. The drive home was snowy but ashendari was great company and we talked about all sorts of things and listened to music. I made it home quite late and had lots of time to sleep before my evening shift in Hamilton. Today though, I've had a migraine all day. My boss called me into work for this evening, but I had to turn down the shift. I never turn down shifts. But my eyes weren't really open and I only answered the phone so it would stop making noise. I'm better now.. many drugs and a day long nap.. I'm going back to bed soon. I've canceled everything I was supposed to do tonight.

| Feb. 4th, 2007 01:21 pm Stupid Toes So I was walking down the stairs just now and I stepped on my own toe. Just one. It hurts. Maybe it's broken. Somehow it bent under itself and I stepped on it. How impossible is that!? Kinda like when I broke my own finger by kicking it. Hard to explain really. I think I am impossibly accident prone. Thats all there is to it. | Jan. 31st, 2007 04:57 pm baby update Well, I left the hospital because I was getting very sleepy and there is still no baby in sight. We got to the hospital nice and early. They did the Gel thing and sent us away for a few hours. We walked around the mall, had some East Side Marios.. and went back . Thank -you Kersteken for talking to Becca on the phone and calming her down. Becca decided after talking with Kersteken to go back to the hospital and do the gel thing again, then do the water breaking thing, and then if she still needed to after a few hours, to do the medication thing. How technical is that? -grin- She also pointed out that the nurse that was getting on Becca's nerves would be gone after 12 hours. That made her considerably happier! When I left the second gel thing hadn't happened yet, so I'm thinking it could be a very long night. I'll post more when I know more. Kestra Kersteken or anyone .. feel free to correct my poor descriptions of whats going on.. (gel thing.. sigh) I'm going for my nap and waiting for Roxy to arrive. 2 comments - Leave a comment | |

| Jan. 24th, 2007 08:42 pm toes My toes are the best little things in the world. They are entertaining. The way they wiggle around. Especially in the pink fuzzy socks I was wearing tonight. They are long and well, toe-like. I can wiggle a bunch of them independantly of one another which is a favourite skill of mine. They are always freezing cold, which is unfortunate, but gives me great amusement when I stick them under other peoples legs. They look their best in fun toe-socks. But I think toe-socks feel weird when I first put them on. Kinda like separating them for no reason. I don't really like mittens either. My fingers get super cold when they are on their own. I like to paint my toe nails. All kinds of differnt colours. Never my fingernails though. I think I ate too much sugar. 6 comments - Leave a comment | |

| Jan. 17th, 2007 04:32 pm TEN THINGS TO PONDER FOR 2007 #10 Life is sexually transmitted. #9 Good health is merely the slowest rate at which one can die. #8 Men have two emotions: hungry and horny. If you see him without an erection, make him a sandwich. #7 Give a person a fish and you feed them for a day. Teach a person to use the internet and they won't bother you for weeks. #6 Some people are like a slinky... not really good for anything, but you still can't help but smile when you shove them down the stairs. #5 Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying in the hospital dying of nothing. #4 All of us could take a lesson from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism. #3 Why does a slight tax increase cost you two hundred dollars, and a substantial tax cut saves you thirty cents??? #2 In the 60's, people took LSD to make the world weird. Now the world is weird and people take Prozac to make it normal. AND THE NUMBER ONE THOUGHT FOR 2007: We know exactly where one cow with mad-cow-disease is located among the millions and millions of cows in America , but we haven't a clue as to where thousands of illegal immigrants and terrorists are located. Maybe we should put the Department of Agriculture in charge of immigration. Leave a comment | |
